Daily Duties at Alcoa/Kawneer:
• Sourcing Manager for domestic and global sourcing. Local, Import and Export Compliance. • Reporting to Director of North American and European Procurement. Management of all procurement applications for facility. Liaison for New Product Development between Engineering, Product Marketing and Plants. • Assigned to multiple commodity factions to negotiate Alcoa International Market Baskets. • Responsible for location ASAT, SOX and other Internal Audit related testing and compliance. • Contributing caucus towards an alliance which negotiated a $6.1m dollar cost savings during the last six month of employment. • Participated in recent Kaizen to improve reliability to customers by 8% while increasing productivity by 20% without increasing inventory at eight Plants.
