Daily Duties at Ieee Solid State Circuits Society:

• Write, recruit, and edit news pieces for the SSCS magazine and website o Revise manuscripts for structure, syntax and vocabulary o Create heads, decks, and captions; select and position photos and other images o Revamp magazine stories into feature pieces for the SSCS website; crop and resize images with Fireworks and Joomla freeware • Manage magazine production o Monitor story balance and page count; create and maintain table of contents o Liaise between IEEE Production, Magazine Editor-in Chief and Associate Editors • Administer Chapter Awards, Distinguished Lecturer, Graduate Student Fellowship, and Membership PR Programs o Focal point of contact between the SSCS Executive Office and 88 worldwide chapters • Research and write reports for the Chapters and Distinguished Lecturer Program Chairs • Design and execute membership database queries.
