Daily Duties at Hewlett Packard:

Renovated the Americas “Omega Online” Sales Compensation Performance Reporting Data Warehouse and EMEA "Myscore" Data Mart Solutions. Analyzed the candidate sources for a data warehouse by clarifying the structure, content, relationships and derivation rules of the data. Clarified at an early stage if the right data is available at the right detail level and that anomalies can be handled Assessed the data quality and enterprise metadata. Constructed Conceptual Data models and Data Dictionaries based on data profiling strategies and Business Views Planned, designed and implemented complex Logical and Physical Models ensuring consistency with the overall Enterprise Model using Erwin modeling tool. Developed and maintained standards pursuant to data structures and models and ensured the application compliance to data governance rules/definitions. Collaborated with other EDM departments for improving the data governance, quality and data mastering. Created application schemas for Oracle 11G R2 RAC DBs for DEV/ITG/QA/PROD environments. Implemented and validated DML/DDL scripts . Provided directions to the team to enforce the best practices in writing DB scripts Acted as liaison between Stakeholders, Business Analysts, Technical Staff and Project team members during design, development and implementation of the application code, scripts, PL/SQL Procedures, SQL code and metadata. Performed Oracle DB tuning, performance monitoring and investigative troubleshooting. Facilitated the Root Cause Analyses meetings for troubleshooting performance issues between the project team and GDBA team members. Provided operational database services which included owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests, initiating and performing changes on production systems, data modeling and reviewing/modifying DDL/DML scripts Designed and developed data integration/ETL jobs using Oracle SQl /PL SQL & its tools,UNIX scripts and C++ code. Optimized development through appropriate project design, database use, code creation, software architecture and reusability. Conducted system tests, troubleshoot issues and corrected defects. Maintained, enhanced, and optimized PL/SQL stored procedures and Code. Continuously develop and enhance technical and business skills and expertise
