Daily Duties at Fores Trade, Inc:

• Support customers as their key point of contact for all operational issues related to the Sales pipeline. Along with Sales team: • Attend industry trade shows, conferences and training • Along with Sales, visit customer facilities to understand client operations and long-term customer needs • Identify and follow-up on potential sales opportunities with new clients and products • Provide supply chain expertise and execute functional responsibilities • Develop and manage the annual budget, contracts and ongoing relationships with manufacturers, vendors and suppliers and field offices to improve quality, service levels and reduce cost. • Manage timely shipment, importation and customs clearance of shipping containers containing certified organic product for US Customers or US Warehouse facilities. • Provide functional expertise on international freight and US importation best practices and liaise with government and program regulatory bodies, including USDA, FDA, APHIS, DOHS and US Customs. • Manage and request US Harmonized Tariff Schedule classification rulings • Plan, develop, and implement freight, warehouse and distribution security programs worldwide. Responsible for managing Customs Compliance and C-TPAT program. • Review manufacturing capacity capabilities and demand forecasts in order to estimate peak delivery periods in support of coordinating work assignments. • Support the design and implementation of distribution network models that support business decisions for global market growth and distribution, capacity and location requirements. • Lead the team's effort in the development of Requests for Proposal (RFP), bid analyses and contract negotiation with suppliers, as required to meet manufacturing and capacity initiatives. • Manage strategic relationships with suppliers and field offices to support business requirements and objectives. • Ensure partners adhere to legal and operational compliance, quality and certification requirements. • Design and implement ERP system to track and manage global inventory and shipping activity
