Daily Duties at Alliance Foundation Of Fl, Inc. Not For Profit:
Responsible for full-line administrative management of a healthcare care delivery system with different business aspects. Establish and manage the audits of the collections operations and contact with patients to negotiate and coordinate payment structures for their portion of account. Effectively use all available resources to provide the best possible patient care. Understand the critical balance between the administrative and clinical functions in the health care delivery system, and am able to coordinate and control programs and resources to achieve this balance. Apply specialized principles and practices of health care management in directing the activities of the skilled nursing home system with emphasizes on rehabilitation production. Independently interpreted, recommended, and implemented program policies and procedures which effectively and consistently reflected the intent of continuous legislative, regulatory, and procedural requirements, with special emphasis on reacting to new legislative needs. Plan, develop and evaluate and test procedures relating to nursing care. Reviewed memoranda, publications, etc., originating from AHCA, VA or governmental elements, clearly and concisely recommended concurrence/non-concurrence based on sound healthcare development and policy. Coordinate the work of others, e.g., nurses, dietary, housekeepers, facility maintenance, financial managers, human resources, and/or vendor specialists, in development and healthcare systems and overseeing long-term healthcare programs. Supervised direct staff of ten; administered operational policies and procedures. Informally counseled employees on training and development required for career advancement and to meet job standards/requirements. Established priorities, assigned work and evaluated collective and individual performance of managers. WORK EXPERIENCE Responded to, and advised, internal and external management officials and their staff on, issues relating to OBRA, AHCA, Department of Health, federal, state and local policies and reporting, agency reporting, and systems requirements. Guidelines consisted of The Code of Federal Regulations Title 42 Public Health, Chapter II OFR Department of Health and Human Services Part 400, 429 and 435, state and local guidelines, etc.
