Daily Duties at Abb Vie:

Rehired by Abbott to provide leadership for a Pharmacy Solutions team. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on commercial pharmacy, major medical, and government insurance plans, prior authorizations, appeals, and alternate coverage referrals. Retained by Abbvie to provide a smooth transition for customers as it split from Abbott in January 2013. • Supervise, train, and mentor the team to ensure high performance standards and metrics are attained. Initiate improvements to workflow and procedures. • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with management, colleagues, and other teams within a high-touch business model focused on a seamless customer experience for patients and physicians. Monitor the team’s customer service skills and provide training as needed. • Keep up-to-date to ensure compliance with constant changes in regulations, company policies, pharmacy law, and HIPAA guidelines.
