Daily Duties at General Dynamic Kommunication Network (Gdkn):

Develop and maintain cost estimates, track and trend project costs and cash flow, develop and maintain work breakdown structure, schedule, and change control documentation. • Track and report project status, and perform variance, earned value and critical path analyses at a level appropriate for the project. • Maintain effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. • Aided in the resolution of quality issues, completes assignments (proposals, project tasks, reports, etc.) within negotiated budgets and schedules. • Review contracts for clarity and identify contract specific requirements. • Keep project manager informed of related project financial status and notify them of potential problems, as well as improvements for the project. • Develop project work breakdown structure appropriate for project in development of cost estimates and budget information. • Assist in the identification of project resource needs (people, materials, equipment). • Provide input to ongoing identification and documentation of lessons learned. • Conduct work activities in accordance with project management policies and PMCoE procedures. • Establish /maintain change control and risk management processes. Work effectively in a team environment. Establish reporting and status for project team, management and customers. • Facilitate problem-solving sessions with project team members of diverse backgrounds when intervention is needed for cost or schedule control. • Work with Business Objects, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP and Progress Report on a daily basis. • Extensive use of Excel to modify and manipulate data to better analyze data for forecasting and trend analysis for 10 Fukushima Major Projects
