Daily Duties at Adecco:

back office consolidation, account analysis, bank reconciliations, People Soft Testing, supervision subordinates, journal entries, training subordinates on new work, key person to go to when there are questions, p&l preparation, interaction with field offices & other departments, cash entries. I was initially employed to supervise and train employees with regards to bank reconciliations, account analysis, people soft financials, general ledger accounts, budget development, monthly financial reports, coordination of IT programs, depreciation schedules, insurance schedules, payroll/personal procedures. After my first 6 months of employment, my supervisors realized my growth potential and intrusted me with greater responsibilities. Such as supervising employees, coordinating corporate accounting functions with other departments and managers. I was resonsible for conducting meetings to establish & implement consistent accounting & financial functions. I was also "the key go to" individual for special projects and assisting other accounting departments when they were understaffed. I was also the designated corporate senior accountant to coordinate accounting programs with divisions in Maryland, New Jersey, & Florida. When employees in my department left, I trained new employees because it was acknowledged I had superior knowledge of departmental and accounting functions. Other day to day functions included implementing incentive & holiday bonuses for temporary employees. My other day to day functions were to monitor daily cash and banking activities so as to eliminate fraudulant check activity. I was responsible for working with internal/external auditors and CPA firms to provide corporate records & documents and to ensure that the corporate accounting functions met their requirements. I also provide a summary cash report for the corporate headquarters in Swizterland. I also provide detailed reports and explanations as to any variances. I also record accruals for revenues, expenses, and cash which are not on the current months financial statements. I significantly participate in the preparation of the financial statements.
