Daily Duties at Honeywell Technology Solutions:
Maintained and operated Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS) ground Control Electronics equipment. Configured Matrix Patch Panel to route satellite data streams to NASA’s intranet or other points of delivery. Tested, maintained and calibrated satellite communication equipment with spectrum analyzers and specialized test equipment. Conducted ground systems setup and recorded Space Shuttle and International Space Station events for retransmission to NASA. Monitored satellite location and configured tracking antennas to maintain continuity of support operations.
