Daily Duties at Valeo Service Usa:

Managing IT projects as new developments in ERP, Lotus Notes, Servers and all current systems; providing network and computer support to Hampton site systems including ERP and EDI systems on a IBM AS-400 platform, PC hardware and software server and network; implementing, verifying, and enhancing information security at the Hampton site in line with both Group and Branch policies. Specific duties and responsibilities are noted below: Project Management: • Install and support new systems according to Valeo standards • Follow VALEO strategy in terms of Accellos implementation (WMS) • Support Lotus-Notes (e-mail and data base) • Support ERP (Mac-Pac) and EDI (Vanguard) systems • Improve functionalities of MacPac current ERP with external support (TDCI, external programmer) • Create and maintain databases, queries, and programs using Macpac files (showcase queries, Access queries…) • Support Customer Relation Management database (ACT) • Create and distribute as required procedure documents for site users Security: • Independently plan, coordinate and implement network security measures to remain current on all security policies and alerts communicated by the Group and Branch, and effectively communicate and apply such policies and alerts to ensure all computers and users at the site are protected and updated with real time security measures. • Ensure computer network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance as required. • Maintain all systems and policies in AD (Active Directory), WSUS (Windows System Update Server) and Trend. • Manage regular backup of Company data • Organize the alert procedure and track incidents and transmit them to management and to the security network (ISSCC, BSO, CSO) Administration: • Maintain network hardware and software and troubleshoot all related issues • Provide daily support to all PC local and remote users and provide new user training • Ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance as required • Manage the purchase, installation and maintenance of the printers, copiers and phone system (for local and remote users). • IT budget management and reporting according to VALEO standard tools (ISBench) • Understand the Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policy and perform job functions in compliance with Quality / SHE objectives and targets • Ensure 5s Standards are applied and maintained in all areas of responsibility
