Daily Duties at Continental Grain Company:
• Maintained and administered Hyperion Essbase, including management of data from Lawson/Clarity/Hyperion Enterprise source systems, reconciliation processes, hierarchy updates, calculation script updates, load rule updates, and nightly application/data backups • Optimized the Lawson/Clarity/Hyperion Enterprise to Essbase data load processes by optimizing the calculation scripts and data load rules resulting in an decrease of overall processing time, in addition to managing the Hyperion Application Link data push between Enterprise and Essbase to capture inter-company adjustments • Facilitated the installation, implementation, and support of Hyperion related products, including coordinating user acceptance testing and the deployment of upgrades/patches to the end users • Provided day-to-day administration and end user support of the Hyperion environment including monitoring server/application log files, in addition to resolving Hyperion related issues on the client’s PC • Managed user security in Hyperion Shared services, and maintained Lawson/Clarity/Essbase audited security file, using MAXL to populate the file • Supported the processes to restore data/security from Production environment to a virtualized Disaster Recovery environment • Developed and supported the General Ledger/Accounts Payable/Cash Ledger/Allocations/Analytic Architect processes using Lawson 9 Enterprise Financial Management for the agricultural and private investment lines • Supported the HAL Enterprise to Essbase Data push, including making required modifications for Year-End processing and supported all required modules and performed Year-End rollover processing • Chosen by management to draft and maintain project plan detailing the phases required to implement and test Hyperion Enterprise 6.5.1/Hyperion Enterprise 6.5.1/HAL/Excel Retrieve
