Daily Duties at Bayer Healthcare:

Leadership Council 2013 (Radiology and Interventional Business Unit, Bayer US Medical Care) Primarily responsible on providing the R&I Business Unit with valuable input from the field as the unit continues to navigate through the integration of teams. Also, responsible for helping the R&I Business Unit focus in the areas that impact the division’s business and culture. Assistant Regional Sales Manager 2012 (Radiology and Interventional Business Unit, Bayer US Medical Care) Responsible for assisting the Regional Sales Manager in managing the Southwest and Northwest sales forces. Responsible for submitting forecasting reports, training new sales representatives, training sales force on new products, and regional expense budgets. Responsible for contracting in assigned health systems and medical institutions. ISS (Radiology& Interventional Business Unit, US Medical Care) Executive Sales Representative Institutional/Hospital (Radiology & Interventional Business Unit, Bayer US Medical Care) Responsible for promoting, Gadavist, MRI contrast agent, Eovist MRI contrast agent (liver specific) Previously, Xeralto, a Factor Xa inhibitor for the prevention of Pulmonary Embolisms, Deep Venous Thrombosis and Non Valvular Atrial Fibrillation. Gadavist/Eovist: Responsible for calling on Neuro and Interventional Radiologist, Directors of Radiology, and Technologists. Responsible in developing educational presentations, such as dinner programs, Continue Medical Education events, and presentations with Medical Affair Liaisons.. Responsible for getting Xeralto, successful formulary approval at the hospital level. Responsible for promoting Xeralto to KOL’s and P&T committee members. Device: Responsible for developing customer strategies for expanding business in the institutional sites and hospital settings for Radiological Devices, such as power injector systems, monitor systems, endorectal coils and balloons for MRI hospital settings. Key Account Specialist (Neurology Business Unit, US Pharmaceutical Division, Bayer Healthcare) Responsible for promoting Betaseron an Interferon beta indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis, to educational institutions and research Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Perfusionists, Cardiac OR Nurses, ICU, Pharmacy Directors and Blood Banks. Responsible for conducting in-services in the OR, Surgical Suite, and ICU sectors of the Hospital. Responsible for developing customer strategies for expanding business in the OR and hospital setting, with key physicians, institutions and accounts. Responsible in developing educational presentations, such as dinner programs, Continue Medical Education events, and presentations with Medical Affair Liaisons. Responsible for collaborating with the Medical Affairs Liaison in development of speakers. Additional products promoted; Refludan a Direct Thrombin Inhibitor indicated for Heparin-Induced Thrombocytopenia HIT. Recothrom a thrombin topical (recombinant) indicated to aid hemostasis whenever oozing and minor bleeding from capillaries during surgical techniques.
