Project Manager Charleston, SC 6/04 – 2/10: - Responsible for managing cost, schedule, performance and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for two USMC programs of moderate risk and complexity. Duties included: Assisting in the management and execution of Program Objective Activities and Milestones (POAM) to include resource leveling, developing demand signal, managing budgets, fielding of equipment, configuration management of software and hardware, training, operational support, hardware acquisition and software acquisition, engineering and schedules. - Introduced acquisition and engineering processes that eliminated system development cost and schedule inefficiencies. Initiated sub-contracting actions for production and integration efforts that resulted in a 15% cost savings during the system production cycle. -Managed a cross-functional workforce of 45 personnel responsible for supporting all aspects of Program Acquisition - engineering, production, program support, logistics and training. Consistently secured highly competitive annual budgets from DOD sources through demonstrated ability to consistently meet schedule and cost constraints.
