Daily Duties at Lake Las Vegas Resort:
Promoted to direct all financial management functions and a professional staff of 20. Oversee development of monthly and quarterly GAAP and tax financial statement for developer of 3K+ acre master planned community. Analyze partnership holdings to uncover ways to divest unproductive assets and facilitate financial activities throughout period of emerging bankruptcy. Liaise with outside auditors and serve as primary point of contact with IRS. Monitor all financial management systems, identify areas of improvement, and implement new applications to drive efficiency. Examine external tax returns for consolidated resort and multiple subsidiary returns and produce regular financial statements. Represented ownership at monthly meetings to analyze hotel performance, planning, and budgeting.
