Daily Duties at Joerns Healthcare:
As the VP & General Manager of the Joerns Services Group, I had the responsibility of completing strategic analysis for and management of the Groups rental, technical, clinical and customer service functions, identifying a long range strategy for the delivery of products and services to current and future customer bases. This strategy integrated the overall organizational strategy into the function of the Group driving profitable, innovative, and efficient operations. Within my eighty person organization I had accountability for Human Resources, Technical Services, Clinical Services, Customer Service and Finance within the Group. My direct reports included a CFO, a Director of Technical Services, a Director of Clinical Services, a Director of Customer Service and a Director of Human Resources. Additionally, I had dotted line leadership responsibility to the Capital Sales Managers, Wound Solutions Managers, and the Sales Specialists groups for achievement of capital acquisition strategies to drive growth in key accounts and key customer relationships.
