Daily Duties at Zep Inc.:

The Director of Risk Management develops, implements, and maintains a comprehensive risk management program. Programs address loss control and guidelines in order to reduce property loss, liability, and worker’s compensation or risk exposures. The department is vested with the power to perform studies, evaluate existing projects, disseminate information, and provide training to enforce regulations related to public health. Reduction of the cost of risk is the primary objective of the risk management program; specific accomplishments that support this primary objective are to: • Reduced Worker’s compensation costs by 70% over a 12 month period • Reduced the total number of W/C and General Liability claims by 85% for world-wide program • Reduce WC costs for site from approximately $1 million to less than $35K over four years • Facilitated Safety Committees and Programs for entire Sales and Manufacturing groups
