• Trade discretionary positions focusing on the US interest rate yield curve within the Portfolio group. Trade US dollar fixed income instruments such as interest rate swaps, treasuries, futures, Eurodollar futures, mortgages, and options • Managed Yield curve, duration, and treasury basis positions for the firm’s Mortgage servicing hedging book • Developed hedging strategies; was a key decision maker in positioning the servicing book; managed position convexity • Integrated and managed Wamu mortgage servicing duration and curve risk positions within the JP model • Carried out majority of execution of swap, treasuries, & futures hedges for the servicing book January 2006 through January of 2010 (often in very volatile environment & at times overnight); managed counterparty risk • Efficiently sourced liquidity in critical times of collapse of various financial institutions utilizing an array of instruments • Traded in and out of multi-million dollar BPV positions daily • Responsible for 5mm of curve related P&L in 06; 6mm in 07; 39mm in 08; 68mm in 09; 29mm in 10; 7mm in 11 • Understand liquidity; maintain relationships with fixed income market makers across various Wall Street firms
