Daily Duties at Maryland Department Of Juvenile Services:
I served as Principal for the four Youth Centers. We served 164 students, all boys 14-18 years of age, adjudicated to our residential care for six to nine months. The majority of our students were kids of color and resided primarily in Baltimore City and the surrounding metropolitan area. I developed, implemented and nurtured an educational program that was recognized throughout the state and nationally for its exemplary opportunities for students.
