Daily Duties at Xcel Energy Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant:
Multi-discipline certified Quality Control Inspector responsible for mechanical, electrical, instrument and controls, and welding inspections, as well as incoming quality part receipt inspections. Review and approval of upcoming work packages for quality related corrective and preventive maintenance. Department Corrective Action Program (CAP) liaison responsible for entering, trending and closing department corrective action requests. Department Safety Coordinator responsible for ensuring the department safety meetings were conducted monthly, all personnel had the required personal protective equipment, and all injuries were entered into the CAP system, investigated and distributed such that the lessons learned could be shared with all site personnel.
