Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin Aero:

My responsibility is to provide support to the engineering group and the production line by Inspecting each phase of the final assembly of the aircraft. I started out as a final assembly Inspector on the forward fuselage structure of the F-16 aircraft. Engineering and supervision found in my early stages at Lockheed that I had knowledge of aircraft. I know that at any company one needs to get to know what the "Five W's" mean; WHO: is involved, WHAT: is the problem, WHERE: is the problem, WHEN: can we get the problem fixed and WHY: did it happen. ". The way I look at it, that all "W's" need to be done , but the last "W" is where things finally happen. I was promoted to complete final assembly doing operational checks (Hydraulics's, Flight controls, Instruments in cockpit, Final closures ). while the government Inspectors (DCMA) watched on before aircraft could go to the flight line. I was promoted to the (FTI) Flight Test Instrumentation Inspection on the F-35 Raptor Fighter Jet. My responsibility is a part of the "DOD" TOP SECRET. I cant put any input on my duties on this matter because this is "PROPRIETARY INFORMATION ONLY".

What they like about Lockheed Martin Aero:

You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.
