Direct all aspects of the Human Resource Department of a non-profit agency with over 500 employees; duties include ensuring compliance in the areas of workers’ compensation, OSHA & safety committee; developed FMLA tracking system; developed affirmative action plan to comply with federal regulations for contract companies; trained Benefit Administrator on COBRA compliance and administration; development of a new employee handbook; supervise processing of employment applications, SLED checks, and disciplinary actions for employees; revised personnel folder filing system; revised outdated job descriptions; supervise conversion of a new HR software system; supervise Benefits Administrator and Human Resource Assistant in daily activities; attend monthly Personnel Committee meetings with the Board of Directors
