Daily Duties at Phillips Defense Systems Inc:
Provided acquisition process and administrative support as Acquisition liaison to Joint Program Office Mine Resistant Ambush Protective (MRAP) Engineer Team. Assisted in development and shepherding all ACAT1D documents from concept to final approval and signature. Organized and participated as a member of several Integrated Product Teams (IPT) pertaining to capability integration, product upgrade, production systems engineering, test and evaluation, information assurance, and human systems integration. These teams were comprised of a minimum of fifteen (15) members from the government and several defense contractors. Developed an acquisition process and coordinated the efforts of the IPTs through the process which reduced the time to develop and procure equipment by 50% and saved the government countless man hours and dollars. Supported multiple process improvement projects that helped align JPO priorities and processes with the Strategic Plan and operational needs.
