Daily Duties at Nextira One (Formerly Timeplex):
Responsible for Network management and monitoring of customers network working in a NOC (Network Operations Center) environment Instrumental in maintaining a high level of non-outage for customers such as Coca Cola, Duke Energy, Phillips Petroleum, NYMEX, and TD Waterhouse securities Coordinated and interacted with local and international carriers and vendors to resolve, escalate, and test of T1 circuits Monitored and managed Event Horizon and Optivity databases by IP discovery and input of circuit identifications, site contacts, and router configuration information Assisted Field Engineers with troubleshooting of customer premise equipment and remote diagnostics Tracked and recorded daily activities such as dispatching of field engineers, escalations to higher tiers, and outages using Remedy ticketing and tracking tool Managed Frame Relay, BGP, IGRP, TCIP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, router protocols
