Project Leader responsible for the life cycle of product, from concept to shipping of product through end of life. Manage program timing, modifications and negotiations with sub-suppliers and customers. Negotiate and quote new cost structure for current assemblies as well as new products Operate cross functionally to manage, coordinate and direct the efforts with engineering, manufacturing, planning, testing and quality to achieve and maintain on time and consistent quality delivery of all products. Influential in team turnaround of underperforming project teams; met expectations of timing and delivery of a quality product and instituted individual team-member accountability resulting in increased revenues and next model year business wins. Took over program in launch mode, streamlined suppliers and assembly parts. Improved quality at next launch and decreased customer cost bringing final launch in ahead of schedule. Initiate, maintain and approve documentation for program BOM, DFMEA, DVP&R, PCN, assumption sheets, 8-D, PPAP, APQP
