Daily Duties at Brocade Communication/Silverback :
Responsibile for protocol testing on FIbre channel, ethernet and FCoE adapters . Few of the several features tested are: • FC drivers: BB credit recovery, Target Rate Limit testing, BOS testing, multipath testing, data integrity, injection of link errors, performance on FC drivers, • FCoE Drivers: priority allocation testing on ETS, FCoE initialization protocol testing, BW guarantee tests for different types of traffic • Network drivers: TCP/IP header checksum offload to HW, VLAN header stripping, header split and binding of CPU, to network connections etc, RSS on windows, end to end integrity tests etc. • Boot over SAN etc, multipathing on FC • Automated many tests and added them into automation repository.
