Daily Duties at Covidien:

 Handled all the device prototype builds for two different project teams which includes: o Prepared equipment, devices, and supplies for animal studies. Also collected data and ran the fluoro arm. o Transported all animal study equipment/supplies to and from the animal study facility. o Supported all device phases up to commercial release. o Designed and fabricated all prototype fixtures used to build and test devices. o Setup test software on Instron tensile tester. Built fixtures as need to complete required tensile testing. o Knowledge of Laser systems that utilizes wavelengths from 810, 980, and 1320, that uses a fiber optic catheter in an open or close system. o Knowledge of RF based catheter devices. o Played a key role in designing, assembly, test functionality of a semi-automated rotating UV adhesive with manual dispensing, heat shrink of PET/FEP heat shrink tubing, and UV curing system all-in-one pneumatic fixture.
