Daily Duties at Newberry County Memorial Hospital:
Collaborated with physicians and nurses with the continuity of care for patients admitted to the emergency room. Collected evidence on sexual assault victims for law enforcement. Was requested to hold House Supervisory position at times. This position worked on day to day nurse staffing, being a liasion with funeral homes, the county cororoner and pronouncing physician upon a patient's death. Worked with family members of deceased patients to help them with the grieving process. Worked with the local organ procurement unit to harvest organs from the deceased patients. There was not a 24 hour pharmacy, so I had to fill and mix medications for all units in the hospital when needed.
