Daily Duties at Ace Hardware:
Responsible for wholesale sales and overall profit improvement of 35 stores with over $65M in retail sales Served in a consultative capacity partnering with retail ownership and management with end goal of maximizing their retail success and organizational effectiveness. Worked with Retailers to ensure fundamental business and retail techniques were executed. Examples include gross margin, cash flow, expense management, return on investment, customer service, brand management, advertising, merchandise mix, plan-o-grams, labor optimization, inventory management, Assessed business needs, developed and recommended solutions, created action plans, and ensured voluntary execution of company initiatives. Advised on store operational issues, formulating competitive strategies and consulting on financial management fundamentals. Accountable for meeting territory sales targets and increasing the Region’s top performer designations
