Provided engineering design, surveying, construction inspection and construction management services for open channel irrigation projects in southern Arizona. o Assisted with the design of open channel irrigation canals and flow measurement structures for agricultural and tribal communities. Performed construction inspections of reinforcing steel and concrete placement for irrigation structures and summarized results in daily field inspection reports. Responded to RFIs for multiple irrigation projects during construction and reviewed contractor submittals in accordance with design plans and specifications. Created design plans for pipeline and open channel canal systems, hydraulic profiles, alignments and profiles, structural details, canal lining systems, and gate details. Conducted GPS surveys and used AutoCAD to develop detailed plans and maps of existing conditions. Provided surveying and construction staking services to contractors during construction.
