Daily Duties at Us Coast Guard:
Deck Watch officer: primary duty to navigate the ship and be in charge for the CAPT during each designated watch rotation; Gunnery Officer: maintenance & operational status of all weapons and weapon systems and associated personnel; Public Affairs Officer: gave tours on special events, published information booklet about the unit, escorted VIP during designated occasions; Helicopter control officer: handled communications between the helo and ship during search and rescue missions; and Ship's Store Administrator: responsible for everything from purchasing inventory to sales.
