Daily Duties at Sharp Hospitsl:

caring for medical-surgical patients - Enjoyed and thrived in the fast momentum of this unit. Diligently prioritizing care for 4 patients per shift. Successfully managed and delivered nursing care to patients with complex medical illnesses and having a variety of surgical procedures including: cholecystectomy, appendectomy, bowel resection with colostomy placement, orthopedic procedures. Also did diabetic patient care management. Took health histories, administered and dispensed medications, and provided patient and family education, clarifying disease processes.
