Daily Duties at Us. Army, Military Entrance Processing Center:
Responsible for processing applicants for enlistment/induction into the Armed Forces based on Department of Defense standards for aptitude, physical and moral fitness, responsible for monitoring, tracking and data input of all applicants into the MEPCOM Integrated Resources System (MIRS) database, conducts pre-enlistment and pre-accession interviews of applicants of various armed services to gather information previously not disclosed which could bear on moral and physical suitability for enlistment, responsible for administering the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) for the Department of Defense Testing Program, processed ASVAB results creating applicant records, identified and corrected faulty system transactions, performed quality review on enlistment test products, screen applicants daily to ensure only qualify applicants are allowed to test, accountable for 23 ASVAB testing terminals and test software. Providing detailed instruction on how to process personnel actions according to the established policies, coordinated, planned and resourced an array of new recruit swear in ceremonies and activities with major involvement with Family Members and spouses. Prepared and provided detailed briefings and presentations to new recruits to ensure they were making informed decisions.
