Daily Duties at Auto Nation, Inc.:
Selected by the Region Vice President of Financial Operations to improve the financial reporting practices and complete the training of an associate who was to take over the Controller responsibilities before I was to head back to the Region Office to continue as a Regional Director of Finance. Managed a monthly sales volume in excess of 300 units with a total employee headcount of 130 and annual revenue of $40,000,000. Received "Above Standard" ratings on financial audits performed every quarter by both internal and external auditors. Worked in partnership with the General Manager on all financial and sales related aspects that included cash flow, expense control, financial reporting and payroll, General Ledger analytics, factory initiatives, and associate performance reviews. Managed an office staff of 15, oversaw accounts receivable, accounts payable, contracts, inventory, payroll, receptionists, and customer satisfaction coordination. Performed all General Ledger analytics and month end close processes.
