Daily Duties at Informix Corporation:
Quality Assurance Team Leader, ClearCase Administrator, UniData SQL tester, Built UniData database and ran UniData regression tests. As the QA Team Leader, I tracked all the UniData projects, produced a weekly Project Status report and distributed it to Management and Engineering, and conducted weekly Project Status meetings with those groups. As ClearCase Administrator, in addition to maintaining the VOBS and Views, I performed source code merges from an existing branch to begin a new branch for the next version of the products. This involved scanning the VOBS to look for ClearCase checkouts, and then working with individual engineers to get them cleaned up before the merge could take place. Each day, I built the newest version of the UniData database on all the Unix platforms we were working on at the time, usually AIX, HP, SOLARIS and others, such as Compaq Tru64, Sequent, and DataGeneral (DG). At the end of each day, I ran the UniData Regression Suite on the new builds, then the next morning gathered all the Reg-Test results from the various platforms, and sent out a report the rest of the QA Team so that they could look through the results, and file Bug Issues for any new problems that were discovered.
