Daily Duties at Management Consultant:
Responsible for 17 employees and over $160 million dollars of inventory for Combined Bachelors Housing's Northeastern Region. I oversaw 17 employees (logistics specialist, planners, schedulers). I Monitored and analyzed sales data, and orchestrated logistics goods control cycle. Monitored logistic information dataflow to optimize utilization of automated logistics system. Provided expedited freight movement of import/export inventory to reduce storage and maximize cost -effectiveness. conducted environmental audits for all logistics operations, including storage, distribution, and transportation. • Monitored the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of storage goods. • Responsible for all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies. • Analyzed data to monitored performance, while allocating staff according to organizational needs. • Ensures compliance with government regulations, policies, and procedures. • Planned, organized, managed and coordinated over-all daily operation of stock control. • Implemented health and safety standard required by state regulation. • Electronically monitored logistic data of stock levels along with delivery schedules. • Coordinated logistic data within the organization with co-worker to ensure proper operation of logistic automated system. • Facilitated freight movement of import/export furniture shipment to ensure cost effectiveness, and reduce storage time.
