Daily Duties at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel Llp.:

Practice focused on commercial disputes and Lanham Act matters, but has counseling activities. Litigation Experience:  Representing clients at all stages of litigation, arbitration, and National Advertising Division challenges, encompassing many litigation areas, including bankruptcy, real estate, securities and employment.  Crafting pleadings, taking depositions, witness preparation, and pre-and post-trial briefing and motion practice.  Managing document and ESI collection, review and production.  Arguing successfully in a pro bono matter for the reversal of a conviction by a State Appellate Court, and obtaining an affirmance of that reversal upon oral argument at the Court of Appeals.  Supervising teams of up to six junior associates, and mentoring and training junior and summer associates. Counseling Experience:  Researching and making recommendations to assist the firm's General Counsel on issues of legal ethics, and consulting with and advising colleagues on issues of privilege.  Counseling advertising clients on proposed claims support designs, evolving legal and regulatory standards, and proposed executions.  Advising hedge fund clients on the impact of pending litigation to guide investment decisions and analyzing contracts both for litigation and compliance purposes.
