Daily Duties at Icap North America:

Responsibilities include acquiring and trading for clients of both hedge funds and banks for the purpose of optimizing market opinions and executing futures and options strategies to maximize risk/reward for desired view in the fixed income and energy markets. Regularly working with the Front Office and Risk teams to understand new and existing trading strategies to ensure correct application of pricing methodologies. Ensuring the accuracy of pricing data within the Risk systems on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis. Working with the Systems team to complete new pricing requests. Performance of Independent price verification at regular intervals. • Proven expertise in managing client relationships and executing interest rate, currency and energy transactions. • Accomplished in working with global sales and trading teams to grow customer base. • Manage all clients profit/loss for trades executed. • Thorough knowledge of derivatives, futures and options markets in Fixed Income and Energy. • Acquire and maintain hedge fund and bank relationships for the purpose of optimizing market view through best attainable commodity. • Build option structures to be executed, and code live feeds to provide PnL for existing positions. • Increase profitability to be managed for several clients in several classes simultaneously. • Code Bloomberg data into MS Excel to track worldwide position changes in Fixed Income and Energy markets with relative ease. • Write and maintain daily research analysis with international Sales teams to be published via Bloomberg. • Coordinate Exchange Traded Products with Over the Counter products to find optimal value. E.g. Comparison of volatility surfaces.
