Daily Duties at Prince George's County Government:
• Provides oversight for Children, Youth & Families Division (CYFD) in the absence of the Division Manager. • Reviews and maintains an accurate accounting and the approval of all expenditures for services provided within CYFD from 28 vendors, totaling $7.5 million. • Serves as the point of contact for Information & Referrals services and Systems Navigation within Prince Georges County. • Monitors and conducts site visits to the following evidence-based programs – School Based Wellness, After-School, Youth Services Bureau, Truancy Prevention, Gang Prevention, Kinship Care, Multi-systemic Therapy, and Teen Court. • Project Manager for the Safe Haven: Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange services program. • Facilitates technical assistance and training to all service providers within the School Based Wellness, After-School, Youth Services Bureau, Gang Prevention, Truancy Prevention, Kinship Care, Multi-systemic Therapy, and Teen Court programs. • Collects programmatic data for the submission of monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual/annual reports to local, state, and federal government entities. • Develops scope of services for the School Based Wellness, After-School, Youth Services Bureau, Truancy Prevention, Gang Prevention, Kinship Care, Multi-systemic Therapy, and Teen Court programs, as well as, Interpreting Services and Community Crisis Services, Inc. contracts. • Assists in the review of request for proposals for agency contracts. • Reviews and approves budget modification requests, as well as, establishes and maintains ongoing working relationships with contract providers. • Monitors the progress of targeted contract goals, assesses program effectiveness to ensure contractual compliance. • Develops monitoring tools for the capture of data from the following programs/contracts: Interpreting Services, Community Crisis Services, Inc., After-School, Youth Services Bureau, School Based Wellness, Gang Prevention, Truancy Prevention, Kinship Care, Multi-systemic Therapy, and Teen Court. • Maintains accurate documentation of correspondents, records, and reports of all contracts within the Interpreting Services, Community Crisis Services, Inc., After-School, Youth Services Bureau, School Based Wellness, Gang Prevention, Truancy Prevention, Kinship Care, Multi-systemic Therapy, and Teen Court programs.
