Manages a team of project managers and project-specific engineering teams. Supervises project managers and schedules project engineering resources. Integrates business development efforts into overall project management methodologies. Develops new business opportunities. Develops and standardizes project and engineering documentation processes. Conducts team project management and project accounting reviews. Manages project manager and team development, training, and workload. Supervises the initiation, planning, execution, and closing of projects providing Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, NeIlQ, Apple, and other technologies for a variety of public and private business sector clients. Supports bids and proposals development, and helps create and manage client relationships. Works with business development managers and engineers to initiate projects and engagements. Develops project charters, schedules, resource plans, and budgets. Establishes project accounting records. Conducts internal and external kickoff meetings. Develops and executes project schedules and budgets. Prepares and executes deliverable, resource, subcontractor management, communication, risk management, and change control/acceptance plans. Manages project staffing and supervises employees as required. Performs monthly project accounting activities. Conducts internal and external project review meetings. Ensures project and contract completion. Reviews deliverables and acceptance. Performs project accounting and contract closeout activities. Conducts internal and external project closeout meetings. Identifies lessons learned and captures past performance information.
