Daily Duties at Kettering Hospital Network Sycamore Campus:
I am a senior member of a self guided surgical team. I ensure that the appropriate surgical supplies and instrumentation are ready and assembled to create a sterile environment based on the procedure identified on the surgical schedule. Responsible for organizing the audio/video equipment needed for the surgical procedure along with the necessary attachments. Work to increase patient satisfaction by implementing the LEAN process and procedures to increase efficiency and the procedure on time starts for the patient's procedure. Further, support the surgical team as the recorder/liaison for the shared governance unit council by reinforcing the protocols of Rimmerman's rules of meeting facilitation.
