Daily Duties at 96th Air Refueling Squadron:
Led 150-person squadron flying KC-135s in support of worldwide aerial refueling missions. Principal member of crisis action team on 9/11 and post-attack spin-up to deploy 15 airplanes and 500 personnel to multiple remote locations to accelerate flow of combat forces. Deployed 3 times as operational commander; maximized availability of air refueling forces for the combatant commanders. Achieved operational perfection in first deployment to Diego Garcia: 332/332 combat effective, on-time missions in a 2-month period. Named Fairchild's #1 Wartime Squadron Commander.
