Daily Duties at Sirva/North American:
During this time I was a Customer Service Associate who made pre-calls for the fan drivers. I would get details to aid in a smooth delivery as well as set delivery appointment windows. I would field any issues that would arise for delays etc. I worked with a team of four pre-call employees for a fleet of 18 fan drivers. I also maintained the office forms and was involved in the Certification of ISO 9002. I was an avid member of the Safety Committee.I was able to create a pre-call form that was adopted into our procedures. This helped aide in tracking productivity and identifying areas to improve. Productivity increased over 10%.
What they like about Sirva/North American:
You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
