Daily Duties at Mitsubishi International Food Ingredients:
As a Customer Service Representative, I was the Support Representative for four Account Managers in the Midwest and South Central Regions. I entered orders, maintained pricing and special requirements for over 500 active accounts. I also set up trucks and processed billing discrepancies. I would upsell to full pallet quantities and watched logistics to reduce freight costs by choosing the nearest warehouse and combining shipments. During my time in this position, I was able to create several forms and spreadsheets to allow our Manager to begin to start tracking our productivity. She was finally able to use real data to establish a performance matrix. I also assisted in the establishment of the quarterly upsell contest. As a customer service representative, I worked with the quality team, accounting, buyers, sellers and product managers. We had monthly CSR meetings. There are 12 CSRs and 6 buyers in the Dublin office.
