Daily Duties at Microsoft:

Responsible for collaborating with Data Center Migration Program Manager to establish new Security policies related to migration and closure of production data centers, resulting in a $10 Million savings. Created new process documentation related to secure transport to ensure zero risk during migration. Driving IT components associated with secure migration of all data center hardware and infrastructure components to alternate sites, and to repurpose the site under extremely tight timelines with very high return on investment. Responsible for overall coordination with 11 different data center across all U.S. and International sites to schedule and track hardware migrating from sites, along with decommission of older lifecycle technology. Implemented new web based audit software to meet ISO Compliance specific to auditing all production data centers, domestic and International, includes creation of new process documentation and training personnel within the data centers, perform gap analysis. Conducted a Pilot specific to enhancements to Microsoft’s hardware erasure program which includes collaborating with Asset Disposal Program Manager and Microsoft’s Security Organization to recommend best practice method for hardware data erasure architecture, resale and disposal.
