Daily Duties at Wichita State University:

- Synthesized quinolinoate-fullerene complexes and investigated the electron donor characteristics of metal quinolinolate complexes used in organic LED. - Synthesized covalently and non-covalently linked porphyrins/phthalocyanines-carbon nanomaterials (fullerene and carbon nanotubes) for building artificial photosynthetic systems and optoelectronics. - Performed method development, evaluation, optimization and identification of donor-acceptor organic-inorganic light harvesting pigments using NMR (1D NMR: 1H and 13C, 2D NMR: COSY and HMQC), NIR, FT-IR, UV-Vis and fluorimeters, HPLC, GC and lifetime measurement spectrophotometers. - Synthesized fluorinated molecules for photodynamic therapy. - Synthesized electron/hole transporting materials and coated those on SnO2 and TiO2 to make thin films for supramolecular solar cell.
