Daily Duties at Point Pleasant Distributors:
Managed a team of On Premise salesman in selling to the on premise trade of customer. bars, tavern, Nightclubs, restaurants. maximize our distribution of our brands in these accounts which had a limited capacity to store ,refrigerate and sell to the consumer. On premise business is the most important segment of trade,but not the most volume is driven through. the idea is to sample our brands in the on premise segment which will trigger the impulse to buy that brand for home at your local liquor store or package store. etc. The on premise segment is a battle to get exposure for your brands, recognition and trail. all our efforts were made to gain market share in this segment which as Ive said will fuel purchases in the off premise segment of trade.Skilled in formulating account strategies and tactics , specific account programming project planning and organizing. High level of relationship building skills to proactively build networks with people at all levels to utilize these and sell products into bars and have the relationships you have gained selling through to customer.Excellent communication and presentation skills to professionally convey complex ideas, proposals, and programs to customers and their mgmt. team. Continually seeks ways to identify and exploit opportunities in spite of limitations on resources, support, or time. Display resilience and tenacity to win business. Seeks out and uses competitive intelligence. Utilizes and shares external and internal data regarding competitors products, pricing, extent and nature of their business with my customer and attempt to take their business. Reported to the General sales mgr all competitive activity on a daily basis. Ride with salesman, help with goal setting and be their coach and mentor. make calls to key accounts where salesman may have issues to be resolved. document work withs and use as a basis for the semi annual review. also looking at survey of POS, Draft beer surveys as to where our product is poured currently and pass this up to the sales manager.
