Daily Duties at Grd Inc.:

As a Program Management Analyst, duties included providing program management expertise in the management of PMW 179 SPAWAR System Center’s assigned Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Systems. Systems managed included: Transceivers: AN/VRC-99 Network Radio; SINGARS, WSC-3 (Line-Of-Site (LOS), HAVEQUICK, and SATCOM), and Digital Modular Radio; Modems: SSA, TD-1271, MD-1324; Cryptos: KG-84A, KG-84C, KIV-7, KY-58, and KGV-11; Computers: JMINI NMS and RC DAMA SAC Controllers; other: ANDVT Secure Voice Terminals, OA-9277 UHF Coupler, OE-82B and Andrew Helical Antennas. Developed the Temporary Alteration (TEMPALT) packages for IBGWN and JTF WARNET to install eight ships and six aircraft with the required suites. Included the analysis and submission of technical drawings and blueprints for installation kits, as well as the development and demonstration of supportability for the TEMPALTs. Developed technical documentation for the operation and maintenance of the systems. Processed two Future Navy Capabilities (FNC) Proposals on behalf of SPAWAR Service Center (SSC), which resulted in the full funding for two Phase II initiatives including Advanced IBGWN, and LBEC. Maintained configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, verification and audit, and configuration data management of all project and program hardware and software. In a short time, acquired a vast knowledge of the inner workings of the supported command at both PMW 179 PEO SPAWAR, and SSC.
