Daily Duties at Lakeland Regoional Medical Center:
Responsible for detecting and recording infections on a systematic, current basis and to analyze results. Act as a consultant and resource in infection control to the organization and is responsible for assisting in the development and/or implementation of improved infection control measures. Communicate reportable diseases to appropriate regulatory agencies. Work in a preventative mode instead of a reactive mode to infections. Review and revise Policies and Procedures. Submit data for SSI and CAUTI to NHSN.
