Daily Duties at Us Army:
Responsible for professional development, morale, and welfare of 76 subordinate personnel whose job was to conduct all phases of Basic Combat Training. Directly responsible for over $5 million worth of facilities and equipment and a $100k operating budget. Additionally overall responsible for over 17,000 personnel as they transitioned from civilian to military service. Conduct weekly training meetings, conduct weekly staff meetings, brief operations training and budget to superiors on a weekly and monthly basis. Conduct a monthly and quarterly training meeting. On a monthly basis conduct counselling with subordinates and be counseled by superiors. This identifies not only actions taken but also lists a road map ahead. Utilize composite risk management for all training and operational missions Model behaviors consistent with an IIF (Incident and Injury Free) culture Successfully interface with various internal departments and business units at all company levels. Plan, coordinate, and execute building projects from concept through completion to include progress reviews. Project portfolio entails a rolling 18 month view of projects being worked across the department. Prepare business case presentations; from conception to delivery to Sr. Management for consideration. Responsible for coordinating projects/activities in order to accomplish departmental goals and objectives. Coordinates day-to-day operations for all aspects of the department, including performance metrics, supply chain and vendors, project management Support project management on the day-to-day management of scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and communications.
