Daily Duties at Brink's Incorportated:
Strategic Market Director Responsible for all lines of business, revenue generation, business development, expense control, and operations oversight in Brink’s 8th largest strategic market in the United States. Tasked with leading all activities to achieve short-term and long-term business and financial results, the SMD has a blend of functional operations and business development responsibilities. • Directed market to year over year margin increase of 28.6% in 2012 and 11.4% in 2013; reduced overall expenses by 9.9%; and increased Cash Logistics operating efficiency by 29.4%. • Ensure that the market is the most efficient, quality-oriented, highest value provider of financial services by establishing and maintaining excellent customer relationships. • Support, coach and provide leadership to team of 2 Senior Managers, 8 front line Salaried Managers and 155 hourly supervisors/production positions throughout 4 facilities in Indianapolis, Terre Haute and Muncie. • Oversee and execute bank and credit union service level agreements for accuracy at 99% or greater for critical outsourced functions to include commercial deposit processing, check imaging, currency & change orders, and ATM services. • Proactively reduce risk exposure and ensure implementation of measures to reduce worker’s compensation injury costs and security losses within the market. • Establish and maintain accountability on all levels of the market; maintain positive employee relations and positive work environment to include awareness of all safety and security programs. • Provide counsel to market management team and interface between regional and North American headquarters to ensure maximum efficiency in execution of work and communication on regional issues involving company initiatives (e.g. IT, Legal, HR, Finance, etc.).
